...your local get of fenris ahroun says, "f--- it, if i die by in battle protecting the caern, that's all the more glory for me and my pack, and if i live then NO ONE will think about messing with us again." in other words, prepare to hear the word "rage" used over and over again that night.
as Jim pointed out, the garou are warriors. for this plan to work you better hope none of them are particularly hot-headed or they've got a few sensible-minded homid-types out there or even some kinfolk with legal connections to handle the mortals' red tape.
furthermore, i'd just like to thank Jim for pointing out something a few of us non-garou players have been trying to say: werewolves are gaia's front line soldiers. as you said, that's what they are intended to be; that is their design. i understand they have a "spiritual" side. in a way they are crusaders sent out by their "god" on a quest to protect and defend at all costs. however, battle is their thing, and for some it may be a last resort, but for most there's nothing better than teeth and claws to settle a dispute. and, yes, i was at a moot while i played sigaard (who was a character intended just to have a little fun with). but what do werewolves talk about in moots? why, their great battles fighting the wyrm.
my point is, yes, the garou character type in the WOD is meant to have a spiritual-like reverence for nature, as that is where it comes from, but hack-n-slash is its primary reason for existence. as such, if garou are in game, then prepare for battle, cuz it's gonna happen sooner or later. it's just who they are. | |
