if I was gonna play a reckoning hunter, I'd do it all cool-like.
Yea, I'd go through character creation, buy my edges and everything, right? But I'd just play as a mortal. 6,4,3 attributes, I'd have all of my abilities and influence, tho, and some of my backgrounds (like money).
But most of the stuff I bought at character creation I wouldn't have. I'd just be playing a normal guy until a supernatural fucks up and shatters the masquerade/veil (one session, knowing us).
When he's exposed to the supernatural, he becomes imbued, and he gets his Conviction, virtues, Edges, funky backgrounds, and the like.
It's neat cuz you're playing just a normal person until something fucking strange happens.
