If I were a storyteller, I would
probably have a single-genre LARP (like say Cam Vamp LARP), with the only other genre allowed in being Joe Kine. I agree, it makes things
very interesting to simplify. A helpless character, relatively speaking, fighting against the centuries of social and physical prowess
one vamp, let alone a
group of vamps, has amassed... I mean, wow. Cool. Joe Kine probably goes down, but in the wake you have a kickass plot full of drama, tragedy, and fury.
However, I would occasionally bring in the odd antagonist NPC or PC... a small pack of wolfies, or a Giovanni faction, or a couple nasty Lasombra, or mages, or an Inquisitor or Imbued.
If I had an Imbued in-game, I would be
highly tempted to let it be a PC. Not only, then, does it throw a loop in the game, it makes for yet another damned interesting roleplaying experience.
Chris. It may seem like it from your experience in-game, but not all supernatties are out to kill the mortals. Most Garou don't care one way or another; Joe Mortal is minorly annoying because he's usually a Weaver-slave, but a Garou is probably aware that many Joe Mortals aren't really that bad. Pests, sometimes, sometimes good guys. A Red Talon might have a piece to say on that bit, but a Glass Walker would say something right back.
Vamps... The Sabbat, who revel in their beast, don't care about humans except as food. Other than that, they're tools or annoyances to be disposed of. A proper Camarilla, however, has some serious qualms about offing a mortal for no reason. They'll do it if they have to, sure. You don't go a couple hundred years without having some desensitization take place. They'll
use humans like all hell, that's for sure, but they aren't supposed to like killing them. It would be stupid, as far as the Cam is concerned, besides immoral (they are concerned with that) and beastial.
A Toreador, particularly, likes the mortal world. And they like subtlety. A Toreador who likes murder is highly unlikely.
Blahblahblah, I'm done.
