Response to Super Naturals are Supernaturals not human at all

"feelings and emotions belong to humans" (paraphrased)

Are you sure that's what you wanted to say? If you had really been reading previous posts, then you would see that the opposite is true. All sentient, living creatures have emotion. Would you agree on this? If so, the list of creatures in the WoD that have emotion would be:

-All Garou
-Bastet
-Corax
-Ananasi
-Gurahl
-Mokole
-Nuwisha
-Ratkin
-Rokea
-Sorcerers
-Mages
-the Technocracy
-normal mortals, et al.
-etc, etc.

To argue that supernatural creatures should not have any of the quantifying aspects of humanity says that "I am completely justified in killing this creature off because he doesn't fit my world-view, despite the fact that he may have hopes, loves, dreams, or anything else worth mentioning". To me, that sounds strangely like the die-hard, fundamentalist Christian belief that those who do not share their religon are bound for hell. Opinions like that led to things like the Inquistion (Burning Times, for all y'all pagans out there), Stalin's purges, slavery, the Holocaust, and the imprisonment of Japanese-Americans during World War II.

Let's do a little imagining: Imagine, you are a normal shmoe. You're walking along one day, and you are mugged. The muggers take your possessions, and attempt to kill you. As they stab you, you feel a white-hot intensity of emotion surge through you, from the place inside that simply won't let you die. It embodies itself through Rage. You lash out at your attacker, your Rage forcing you to defend yourself to the last. Even through the Rage and anger, a gnawing sense of fear knots in your belly - a fear that you may die ignomiously, just some guy in the street - without purpose, without reason, and without those who care for you. As you defend yourself from your attackers, you feel the Rage burn through your veins, giving you strength previously unrealized. A part of your brain recoils in horror as it watches your body change - hair grows at an alarming rate, you get larger, wicked claws grow from your hands. You've become a monster. But, it allows you to cling tenaciously to life, to that glowing, pulsing thing that drives you. As the last of your assailants fall, you slowly back down from your anger. You shift back to the form you've known all your life. You're entire world has been tossed around like a dingy in a hurricane, all in the space of a few seconds. You're hurt, angry, confused, scared.

Welcome to the First Change.

If you're so dead set on saying that supernaturals shouldn't have emotion, or act like humans, you should seriously read up on the critter in question. Yes, they aren't ENTIRELY human anymore. But neither are they entirely monster.
