It's not BECAUSE of the game, per se. The game, apparently, has become an outlet for vented frustration, etc. because it's the only place I freakin' see anybody. Despite the fact that I have been told I'm welcome at the bar anytime, I have to say this: none of us are at our best while drunk. The thrill of watching stupid drunk people while I remain sober went the way of the dodo a looonnnggg time ago. And, I do not wish to get drunk. However, it seems that 98% of the things people do outside of game revolve around drinking - therefore, pushing me out. The other 2% reflects people spending time with their SO or whomever they're fucking this week. Also, not something I'm included in (rightfully so).
So, it isn't the game itself that is causing me to be exceptionally pissed at people I used to call friend - things just get aired there because it's the only time I see everyone in a group.
