I could not check in on Friday as I only had access to my bberry and I can't figure out how to post on it. I delayed my diet for a week until after my birthday last Sunday. So I started South Beach on Monday. Additionally, there is a weight loss contest at work so I am doing that too. I have not stepped on the official scale but I think I have lost 5 pounds -- that is normal in the first 2 weeks of South Beach. I did it a few years ago and lost 11 pounds in 2 weeks. No exercise yet because I hurt my back a couple weeks ago and then jammed it again last weekend. I am craving bread but not giving in. Luckily I am not a huge fruit fan (I like strawberries, bananas and apples but not too much more). That said, I am craving a glass of apple juice but no dice. I have that little "stick to my diet" high so that is helping me.
