At one time, when living in CA,

November 12 2007, 5:10 AM

I had all varieties. It was nice to have one of them blooming almost all year 'round. And, I love the different colors - they are so beautiful! I have not had much luck w/ them here in TX; all I have is one puny blossomless baby.

Whenever I utter the word "exercise" I will rinse my mouth with chocolate!

JuJu I think I will try probagating. Thanks for the info

I would like a red one. I take mine outside every summer, low sun. It has buds on it when I bring it in before frost.

They should propagate very easily

and successfully. Seeing the results of your green thumb, I have no doubt that you will succeed in developing additional plants from your original!

So pretty

My mother has a big one, Christmas variety I think. I had a gorgeous one but it died. I grew it from a piece. Unfortunately, I'm cactusless this year. I don't know if I like the pink, red or whites ones best.

Cactus

I got one too but call it a Christmas cactus that I got from Mrs. Fury's step mom. It's pink, and has started to bloom!

That's pretty !

December 28 2007, 9:05 PM

I just bought one off the 75% off rack at Lowe's. From the buds on it, it appears to be pink, but for $2.00 for an 8" pot, I'm not picky about the color. I've wanted one for a while, but never got around to getting one. The deep discount was the incentive I needed.
