everything you say is disputed by reputable people that make their living training (mostly the "proficient" riders like yourself) , if you had bothered to read like I have you would simply realize , you are wrong , it was emphatically proven by actual tests done in 1976 --
while technically some low speed turns can be made without countersteering - practically, it is almost never done that way . Your constant posting of that stupid photo only emphasize that you dont have a clue what countersteering even is , and that alone precludes you from knowing whether you do it or not. Counter steering is a confusing and subtle concept ---Im sure that is why it eludes you ---
(by the way the wright brothers understood it in 1900 , so you are only 107 years behind the times )
Your laments about riding in chicago are not backed up by statistics either, by the way ----rural roads prove much more dangerous according to experts . I guess it is hard to gleen much useful info from the ad pages of the national enquirer , so you are not at fault.
