I'm Crazy!

I like the idea of the off-topic forum. If we can bare our NBE experiences, then why not get to really know each other? I am a crazy girl! I don't mean that I'm off in the head-----I promise I am dealing with a full deck.I just say stuff without thinking sometimes and if something I'm really passionate about---good or bad-----I just tell it like it is.I am rather blunt at times but with age I am getting better.I will also say I'm crazy in a fun way.I can make people laugh.I make more people laugh than I piss off.
I am 34 years old but most people that meet me at first think I'm no older than 25.They actually have to end up asking me my age, especially when I talk about my 18 year old son.Love flipping them out! I have 3 kids: 2 sons --- ages 18 and 14 --- and a little girl, age 6 (will be 7 July 15th).It really will be funny when people first meet me and I start talking about my Grand Baby! Ha!Ha! Grand baby will be here Dec./Jan.
I love my husband! We had some rough spots along the way,but we're making it work.I live in Tennessee---born and raised.I spell and read better than I talk,I live about an hour from Nashville and love to go there.I like planting flowers/working in my gardens.I like decorating and home improvement. My husband has come to love this, too.Guess he kind of had to.We like chilling on our deck in the back yard in summer. We have a pool, hot tub, gazebo, and have cleared a space in the back that is right at the woods. We are starting a woodland garden and have recently added a wooden privacy fence at the pool.
I am fixing to go back to school to re-take my cosmetology.Took it in high school but did not get to finish due to having my first child at 15.He came first and life happened. My hours ran out and have to start all over.I will go back at the first of the year.I will specialize in nails because I am awesome at them.I can do my own as well as other people's.I just have to get my license to make a living at it.I'm taking the whole course just for more job security.Every one needs a haircut.I will not have any over-head,as we have a building at the house.I am very excited about this.
I love all kinds of music.I am decent at singing. My dad makes pedal steel guitars.I have learned this insrument a tad.My dad says I'm a natural at it,I just don't have the time to learn it.I want to do this,as it is my dad's legacy.
I love my mom! She is the best. She's feisty(crazy),too. My dad is too.I came by it honestly.I am a good friend.I don't have many, but the ones I do have can count on me and I on them.I am not a good liar.Just ask my husband. But,that is a good thing.I have 2 older brothers, the oldest is also my pastor.I am blessed!

My little story too

July 27 2009, 3:38 AM

Hey Mel C, I liked to learn about you and your life. Everyone has a story to tell right. well I guess here's mine! I am 31, I have 9 year old and a 2 year old, both girls. I live in a small town called Mission in British Columbia, Canada. I work as a Certified Dental assistant. My husband is applying to be an RCMP officer. I have a few good friends too because when you get married and have kids those that stick with you are true friends. I have a twin brother and two older sisters. My mom passed away when I was 23. My personality is a balance between quiet, soft spoken, but will voice an opinion if need be, my husband thinks I'm a pessimist, I say I'm a realist. Prefer to be at home with my family and 2 cats. I am a bit of health nut, but have a weakness for candy and chocolate! After having my 2 year old my hormones never seemed to be the same after and therefore have depression but ST. Johns Wort is a natural miracle for me (having my breast implants removed didn't help psychologically either) but I can't feel sorry for myself, just have to accept what life throws your way.

I love my husband, he is my soul mate (married for 10 yrs), and we have had our rough patches but I can say our marriage is better now then in the early years. People do change and I think our personalities develop and take new direction as you grow older. And Mel C my husband can attest that I too am an awful liar ;)

Thanks for letting me share my story and ladies I would love to hear yours!
