Back in March, emailed Airguns Only ( an outfit in Alberta, Canada, I have dealt with for years) enquiring about availability of the new 18.1 grain - .22 cal. JSB Extra Heavy Jumbo Exact pellets. Email back from Derek Budd? at Cobalt Mechanical?. (presumably new owner?) - Will be in stock shortly!. Later email from a Crystal Bugg? at DAK Sport?; The pellets are now in stock; 500 pellets per tin , 9 tins/sleeve, $126 Cdn per sleeve. Ordered two tins by phone, May 1.
Two tins arrived, May 19. BUT (surprize, surprize) - they were the regular old 15 grain Heavy Jumbos and only 250 pellets per tin - not 500 as they advised! Further (expensive) long-distance calls and emails asking what happened. Email from Derek at Cobalt Mechanical saying: These pellets are the heaviest.22s JSB makes I do not know of the heavier 18 grain pellets, where did you hear about them ??? (Not a mention of the wrong quantities, prices, etc.) And this is after all the previous emails, phone calls etc. etc. Wow! Talk about frustration!
Derek advised me to return the two tins for a VISA credit plus my return shipping costs. Pellets duly returned May 26. June 2 confirmed delivery by Canada Post tracking. Despite several (4 ) further emails requesting the promised credit plus shipping costs, no response whatever from either Cobalt Mechanical or DAK Sport? Not a word!
Its been three weeks since the pellets were returned , and Im still waiting for my VISA credit, and hoping if I ever get it; that the return shipping costs ($11 Cdn) will be included.
Why the hell doesnt this guy just simply credit my VISA card with the total amount, as he promised, and get this whole ridiculous business over with???
Dont think Ill be dealing with this outfit very much in the future. . . (HA!)
