During the summer I ordered an HPA conversion kit for my RWS/Hammerli 850 from Roald at the850store.com. It came in short order, but other events precluded me getting to it immediately. When I finally did, I pumped the gun up and took a rest. A few hours later we heard the sound of the regulator output burst disk letting go. I called Roald and he had a couple of disks in the mail to me that night. Got them in a couple of days and tried again - and the disk went once more (though after a little more time). Called Roald and he told me to send him the regulator and he'd send another one to me - though this was the first time he ever saw that problem. The regulators passe in the mail and I had a new one in a matter of a few days. This one is working beautifully. He did tell me later that the one I sent back sat for several days before blowing the disk again (he filled with a tank, whereas I pumped - evidently speed of fill had something to do with it). He disassembled and visually inspected the regulator and found the problem and was able to repair it.
Excellent, excellent service. Plus Roald is on call and answers e-mails promptly. Very impressed.
