We live in SE south dakota, and tried yesterday for the first time this year. I was always told its about the time the lilacs start blooming. We found 11 little ones, but I was wondering if we were too late this year, or if we strangly enough even with the river flooded if we need more rain? Things seemed kind of dry where we were, even along the river... any info would help.
