how can i transport fresh morels. from indiana to georgia. thanks, laura

Check out the Preserving Page for your short and long term preservations. There are several good suggestions on packaging and delivery.

You can store fresh ones in a cooler, packed into small plastic
tubs. They can be kept in a refridgerator for a week or
so like that, so if you keep the adding ice, they will be
in good shape after a couple of days on the road. If you
are concerned with them drying out at all, put a SMALL piece
of damp paper towel into each tub.
