I have only been looking for a couple of years now. When should we expect to start seeing them?

I'm not a PA native, but I'll guess that you should start looking in 3 weeks or so. Here in Virginia conditions are "close to right" but the temps have been a bit low for the morels thus far and the plant indicator species aren't up/in bloom yet (e.g. mayapples, dogwoods, poplar and oak leaves, etc). Since there have been reports of yellow morels in GA already (March 10-11), I'm thinking that I have 1.5-2.5 weeks to go...

On a positive note, the GA finds are apparently ahead of the dogwoods, so it may be a really interesting and early season if the weather behaves...
