So far we've had plenty of rain here in southern Ohio, Near Shawnee State Forest. Hope its going to be better than last year. I can't wait.
I had a total of 143 morels last year, most averaged 2" The biggest was only 4". It was a dissapointing season.

Anyone else hunt in Southern Ohio, I'd like to hear from you.

Wow another 2 3/4 inches of rain past two days 3/27 and 3/28, here in scioto county, Ohio. It should be a real good season when it warms up.

I hunt southwestern Ohio but have not got out there yet, If we get a couple of worm days it should be ideal. Ill go check out my little honey hole tomorrow and report back.
