hi i have lived here in oklahoma for more than 10 years, i am from new jersey orginaly and morels are just the best thing to eat we could find them all over the place back home. i have searched many time throughout the years here in oklahoma city with little to no luck. any information on finding were they are here would be very gratefull, its ben so long since i have had a big ole plate of fried morels mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
come to southern oklahoma I have found alot the past 9 days in sparce woods with sycamore trees and cedars around me this morning alone I picked 3 walmart sacks fulland still didnt get them all.
I have found them in a couple of the public hunting areas around the corps lakes I would suggest along streams or riverbanks. Probably got em down your way. from what I can tell they like the old forest (large old trees)some claim a big ole Elm tree is the key but I have found them all over even in the middle of an open pasture.
Hi I also hunt shrooms. I had alot of luck last year
