Hey all, Looking forward to an excellent year after the fiasco caused by a late freeze and final exams. We have excellent soil moisture, and the temps will be good in 2-3 weeks. I plan on getting MANY mushrooms, and I would like to know how you sell them. Do you need a permit, or business license? My friend sells them at the side of the road out of his trunk. I'm just fishin for info.
GOOD HUNTING ALL!!!

Sales of morels

I work with a partner in Missouri who sells mushrooms commercially. We can help you sell the mushrooms via wholesale buy from you and we handle the retail sales to restaurants and individuals. We pay by PayPal so you are guaranteed money from the sale of your morels. Let me know via email if you are interested.

Just because everything sounds perfect, doesn't mean it will turn out that way. Don't mean to burst your bubble but it has happened to me in the past. Happy hunting though!

I know oh so well!

I know bout disappointment. las year was perfect. We just had our first 2 days of good sun, and then canadian air attacked. It was sub-zero for about 1 1/2 weeks. There was a season, but it was very short and sparse. I usually get lots, and I only got @ 1/2 lb. Soil conditions are right, and I have multiple new spots I just got permission for last week. Its gonna be a good spring! Good hunting.
P.S._ I got this tip last year. It is awesome. Use the Garlic Ritz crackers with an egg bath, and then of course, fry them in butter. The results are very tasty! Enjoy!

morels in indiana

April 24 2008, 8:33 AM

I will be selling them for 20-25 bucks to.....if this is a good year. Last year was my first, I found 3 gaint ba**ards in warsaw last year. a wekk later went to michigan and foud 8 between the 5 of us. Still had a great time. If I find bunch I am going to ebay them , and sell them in a parking lot of a walmart and sell for more.

When I was in michigan last year, and I couldnt find any, some guy was on the corner who somehow had plenty. But, he was selling them for 90 bones a pound! How assinide is that?!?!?! I was gona make a seen but decided I fely bad for him, from the looks of it he needed the cash. Honda all rusted out and all, and huge wife next to him. (not so much that she weighed 300 some pounds but the fact that her front teeth were sticking straight out like a diveing bored at a swim meet) lol The only thing missing was the hole in the throat that smoke addicts smoke out of and 5 kids almost the same age almost.......ah good times. Made my crummy life feel better :)
