Flooding Morels

We had a huge flood today on one of the creeks that I hunt on and I know that the water covered one of the spots that I hunt. I went two days ago and several of them were just a few inches(less than two inches) so I left them to grow. My question is will the flood hurt them in any way, outside of just washing them away. Just wondering because this is where I will find them by the hundreds.
