New Jersey morels

We are new to morel and mushroom hunting and are looking for any advice to get us started hunting in New Jersey.

Here are some questions:
1) When should we start to look for morels and when does the season end?,

2) What types are found here in NJ?,

3) It sounds from postings on the bulletin board that where morels grow depend on where in the country you're hunting. What is the habitat/tree types for them here in NJ?,

4) Any suggestions where to go here in NJ?,

5) Are there any special tips for storing morels for current and future use?,

6) What other types of edible mushrooms can be found in NJ and are they found during the same time of year as morels?,

7) Are there any clubs or groups here in NJ that go looking for mushrooms and help newbies like us get into this great hobby?

Thanks for your help and answers to any of the above questions.-

The ShroomNewbie Brothers.
