NOT TO BOTHER YOU BUT COULD YOU TELL US WHAT AREA YOU ARE NEAR. IS THAT WEST VIRGINIA OR WESTERN VA.? I AM LOCATED IN BLUEFIELD, VA. AND WISH TO HUNT FOR MORELS. AM I CLOSE ENOUGH TO DRIVE TO WHERE YOU FOUND YOURS?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW VIA EMAIL AS SOON AS YOU CAN. HOPE THIS IS NOT TOO MUCH OF A BOTHER.
A client tipped me off morel's are in season. I am a first timer to this and I have searched a couple of days now in WHITEHALL VA to no avail. Do I need to go up the mountains more? By the streams? Any specifics would be great. I am not out to break the worlds record, I just want a taste of the mushroom finding experience. (I loved the tip from someone on this site to throw your wash water on to the compost heap to possibly create your own morel bed!!)
