found about 30 small greys in the hills on the 23. we just got a good rain so if it gets up in the upper 70's today it sould be a great week

shrooms in wilson county kansas

With the heavy rains and warm temps the last couple of days it has been morel heaven.We found about 400 yesterday, more than we have ever found.They were everywhere,both grays and yellows all good size and most really big.
am interested in hearing the type of area that other Kansas hunters find their shrooms.

You are in good Morel country. Over by White Cloud we would find 5 gallon buckets full, some 8-9" tall.
