pass it forward in culpeper, va

I'm a city girl gone country in Culpeper, Va. I know lots of shroom hunters, but they all refuse to reveal their shroom sites. I love, love, love Morels, but have only had drid ones. I have searched for years for Morels but with no luck. I am desperately seeking a teacher, sage, mentor. I have a gourmet food shop and would love to offer my customers and myself fresh morels. If you are willing to teach me how to find Morels, I will gladly give you a venue to sell all that you and I can find and sell as well pay for training. Please help me continue the tradition so I can pass it forward.

Hi,
Morels can be hard to find in NOVA,but not impossible. Now is the time! I picked up about 25 pounds in the past 5 days (about 8-10 pounds today). I would be willing to sell some and talk to you about finding them too.
Regards,
Bill

help

I could use your help. I went for the first time ever today and did not find a thing. I was in Amelia. Are they so hard to find that I could have covered 200 acres or so and not found them. I am thinking I need to try a new spot.

I recommend to look in low flat areas (river bottoms) with fairly thin leaf cover under tulip poplars, ash or sycamore trees.
