Morels in Vermont!

Hey everyone!
My hunny and I were out cruising around on our Harley yesterday( May 14th) and decided to stop on a stretch of dirt road that leads to the Audubon trail near Huntington, Vermont. It didn't take two minutes of walking into the woods before we discovered a nice sized morel and a few other smaller ones! A little more poking around and we ended up with eight really nice mushrooms in about 5 minutes BUT the bugs were ferocious!!! We had to get out of there since we had no bug spray with us!!
We were stoked to find the morels though and we sautee'd them up with a little butter and onions as soon as we got home...what a TREAT! There are definitely morels in Vermont!
