I AM HAVING A VERY HARD TIME FINDING MOREL MUSHROOMS IN CARTER COUNTY, OKLAHOMA. I HAVE HUNTED THEM FOR YEARS IN THE OKC AREA AND ALWAYS HAD GOOD LUCK. I AM NOW LIVING NEAR THE ARDMORE AREA AND I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND THEM ANYWHERE. I DONT KNOW IF THEY GROW IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS THEN WHAT THEY DID IN THE CITY OR IF THE HUNTING IS JUST NOT GOOD IN THIS AREA... CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME??? THANKS
Everyone i have talked to about most area's say to look around cedar trees in or around river bottoms, dont know how much this will help but i am planning to go hunt next weekend at a state park in sulphur, ok.
