Has anyone ever found small mushrooms and saved rain water to water them in hopes to speed up there growing?

watered roons

I did one better. I scooped up a tiny clump into a shallow pan, put it in my sunroom, set up a camera, watered and photographed it daily. I used tap water. They grew, slower then I would have thought, stayed the same size for 2 days, then they wilted and fell over. It was amazing.
These were from Missouri River bottom , middle of SD.
