Should I feel Robbed? I've had a real nice patch of Morels clearly growing in my front yard. were they mine or free to whoever eyed them? The weather has been very moist here in the Willamette Valley and so when I saw them pop up I decided to let them get bigger before I picked them. I was so excited to have morels growing in my front yard. Then today some neighbor decided to cash in on what was clearly on my property. I am an avid Chantrelle hunter and have lots of great patches, but I'm at a loss for finding morels. Anyone out there want to show me how to find morels in the Eugene Area?
I don't care what kind of hunting you do, you should always ask when going on private property. Tho' leaving morels unprotected is like leaving money on the ground and not expecting anyone to pick it up. Sorry
If the neighbor is bold enough to take something from your property I would go help myself to his gardens or maybe a new set of tires. If nothin else I would hook my garden hose to his house and use his water for a month (let him pay the bill)
