found 36 black and greys so far.( They are small 2-5 inches) They are out there- maybe the sunshine will get em poppin! Found mine in St. Charles county
Went out last weekend (4-10-09) and spent a couple of hours in the woods along the Pomme de Terre River in Polk Co. My wife found ten grays on hilltops around elms and sycamores. I went out again today checking creek beds, hilltops, and everything in between and found nothing. I think we are about 2-7 days (depending on weather) away from things to start popping. I will keep hunting and posting reults. Best wishes to all fellow hunters!
