I live in Catonsville, Maryland and today I found my first Morel - It is black, growing at edge of a wooded area, I went back around 5:30 tonight and there were at least a dozen more showing in the same area. I am going back tomorrow to check again. That made me very Happy, it made the day.

Congratulations, I know how it feels to find that 1st one. Once you find the first one, the hunt becomes alittle easier. Keep your eyes open and Good luck in finding lots more.
