Not too bad of a hunt today, about 2 hours and came out with alomost 60 morels. I left quite a few behind to see if they get any bigger in a few days. I picked 15 last Friday but left some little ones then too. Those ones had actually grown a little when I checked today, I'll see again in a few days. After learning about morels last year, i decided to see what I could find in my own "back yard" and they are actually out there if you are determined to look. I found over 60 last year but it may have been late in the season, mostly gold colored, some starting to wilt but they were good size. So far on a couple trips this year I have been finding mostly small 2" or so with a few big ones 5-6". I'll keep checking every few days and see if I can find more patches off them too.
