what about "half-free" morels

as they are called in a shroom book are they any good (probably will get ripped for this question) I find them but dont pick they look wierd.

We pick them and they dont taste much different We do eat them and have no problems. But when you cut them in half make sure there is no cotton looking stuff in them because if you eat to many of those ones they can give you an upset stomach.

I do not eat these either - we get enough of the normal morels that we do not usually have to mess with them.
