Did you really find over 800 or did you mistype? In 40 years of hunting I have never found that many. What part of Michigan are finding these mushrooms?

ive found 30 or 40 in one place and have rarely if ever found any in a feild but i found over 800 in a field[at the edge of woods] around a dead elm ande i have pictures to prove it

Found just a couple on Friday 5/1/09 (5 Blacks)

A little better luck on Saturday - 13 mixed variety - Black, Gray, and Yellow ......

Then today (5/3/09) was great - found 104 mixed variety!!!

Great hunting season in Berrien County - Michigan!!!

Backyard in Battle Creek

Spotted a Morel this morning while fertilizing the back lawn. Called the wife to show her. We found 25 more in just 5 minutes. We've lived here over 6 years and had never seen one in our yard before.

I found about 60 in two days in the same. The Kal-Haven trail is full, a lot of bugs though.

Morels in Milford

My husband and I found over 600 in to woods next to place we are staying at by Kensington Metro Park. They are all over the place. Can't wait to cook some of them up!!
