I went out for my first ever attempt to hunt Morels on May 2nd in NE Missouri. We had no luck and I want to try it again this weekend but I am wondering if I am already too late. Any help with this topic will be gratly appreciated.

Its not too late, its getting close though (indiana) keep a positive attitude its tough looking at brown leaves all day. It sounds corny but I bring binoculars and bird watch to give my vision a break from looking at the ground. The moment you start to doubt yourself is the time you'll walk right past one. I found 15 of my 60 this year just walking and finding one by one put on 7 miles one day.
