I know it may be early, or maybe the climate has changed. I haven't lived in Montana for 17 years, but is it just too early, too cold, too dry or what?? I found 7 yellows in 2 seperate trips. Very small. Just wondering if anyone else in Montana has had any luck. Let me know. I know my son is finding tons in Ohio! Big ones too! Thanks !

check the forum list. I started a MT/WY page a while ago. It is probably a bit early in northern/western MT. I have found blacks at low altitude in the last two weeks, so if you are finding yellows, keep looking. Wait till a good rain and then some warm days, and they should pop- sounds like you already have some good spots scoped out. Coniferous morels should be a month or so.
