Last found morels 2 weeks ago in SE Michigan.

I'm in St.Clair County and I'm still finding a few-this is my first year so I'm sure I'm missing alot-but what I've found are good

That is great that you are still finding some morels.

What type of areas are you finding them in?

Dry, wet, sun, shade, forest, grass?

under long needle pines-dry-that last rain brought out a few more

Found a few under some mixed short and long pine needle trees.

They were semi dried and the upper tops were blackish in color.

Should I try to rehydrate them?

Would they be safe to eat?
