After three years of slim pickings we finally have a banner year. Total of 10 pounds of blacks so far beginning last week with 5 pounds picked today alone. I'm at the point where I'm not even bothering bending down to pick any smaller than 3 inches.

Update

Picked another couple of pounds since last weekend and thought the blacks were about done when I found 2 Whites today, only to get into the blacks again. These were mostly very large with about 250 making up just over 6 pounds in less than 2 hours. Finding them further into the woods now where until now they were within 15 feet of the road.
