Washington State/Puget Sound Area Wild MushroomsMay 18 2011 at 2:26 AM

This is my first time posting here. I have used the site for reference for 2-3 years.
I looked and did not quickly find any threads about shrooming in the Puget Sound area of Washington State.
If there is such an area I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
I'm in Skagit County 1 hour north of Seattle. This is my 3rd year hunting wild mushrooms.
I have a GREAT Chanterelle spot that can produce 100's of pounds a year. I have never taken more than 20lbs in a day.(wish I could post a picture)
This is my first season looking for spring mushrooms including morels. I had some incredible luck finding my first morels. I found about 250 Blacks and Yellows in around 2 hours. All in hardwood chips placed around a HWY road project. (again I have great pictures)
I am looking to learn and meet friends to hunt with in my area.

Can you help me to find a good spot for Chanterelle. Thank you
