Parker-Hale Pub Target

For those that missed the following item on eBay, here are the pics of a Parker-Hale air rifle target. These are rare, and don't come up for sale too often; most remain in England, in the Birmingham area where pub-shooting was a predominant local entertainment.

The face appears to have an old coat of non-drying paint; you can still see the impact spots from a match long ago!

You can't really see alot of the mechanism, but a bulls-eye hit releases the number 5 at the top of the target, and the bell is rung. You can see the pull chain at the bottom; the chain is pulled to reset the target for the next shooter.

Still has the original label. A pretty neat piece of history for some lucky collector.

Wish I could have gotten it, but alas, no way could I get near the final hammer price (with shipping, around $800!)
