Thanks to a NZ collector 'Barryeye', I recently received a small quantity of boxes of 'Star Shot', approximately 50 years old, but the interesting thing was, they were overlabelled boxes intended for 'Lanes Slugs'.
They were discovered in a UK newsagents where Barry worked, many years ago.
This particular 'Lanes' box is one that John Atkins hasn't seen before, so I'm wondering if anyone else has them in their collection.
The 'Star Shot' seems to be another rarity, although due to the variance in shot size, it's not much use for anything unless graded first.
