I posted this the other day.
Some pictures of my family members who served in the military.
These are my Great Uncles. This picture was taken the day the last of them returned home from World War II in 1945
This is a picture of my dad's cousin. This picture was taken in France in 1944. He was killed in action in Belgium in 1945.
My self, I joined the U.S. Coast Guard in 1985. I was unfortunately unable to serve due to back problems. Keep the tributes coming. I also wish to mention some of my other relatives and close friends that have served. My uncle Sam who served in Korea, my uncle Joe who served in the Navy during Kennedy's administration. He was in the Atlantic fleet and served during both the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missile Crisis, my uncle Eugene who served in Vietnam. Also a few of my friends who served, my friend Jeff who served in the 101st Airborne during Desert Storm. He broke his leg on his very first combat jump. My friend George who served in the Navy during Desert Storm. We both signed up together in the buddy program. I was rejected medical due to my back. And another very good friend of mine, Timmy. He served in the 82nd Airborne. Here's to all who served past, present and future. Semper Paratus!
