Tony, a question!....did the crystal retaining ring fit back on with the domed crystal ?

I mean did it snap back on as (well and snug) fitting as it was on the flat crystal?

Thanks, as I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my 6309-729A Pepsi diver.

And since were on the subject, is this crystal a very good quality crystal & where and for how much will one cost me.
