I sent my Seawolf to a fellow Forumer to have him clean it and hopefully to get it up and running for me.
Greg worked has butt off cleaning it for me and fixing it as much as he could but it was a daunting task and couldnt be done! sad.gif
He wrote me back and told me that there was cat hair wound into the center wheel and balance hairspring. HOW in the holy hell does one get cat hair into the movement of a watch??? I am totally bewildered and so was he!!
Now what do I do? Replace the entire movement or take it to a watch maker and spend 125.00 or so?? DAMN!!!
IF you are reading this Greg, thank you VERY much for all your efforts and for trying to help out!! It was VERY much appreciated! happy.gif
