What is tact? Another term for politically correct, would be my guess. I'm from the old days where Captain James T. Kirk delivered diplomacy with a phaser in one hand, a babe in the other, and a touch of a smile.
Back to the definition of "shortly". Why use a vague term to mask an absolute? Shortly means "I do not have a clue when, but hopefully soon." I find people too afraid to answer with any percision. Why not answer a question with an answer? BECAUSE IT SIMPLY MEANS YOU DON'T KNOW.
Sorry for the rant. Just got through a 2 month discussion on the definition of availability with a group more slippier than a greased pig in an oil slick. And got I nowhere. Even when I tried to play pin the tail on the donkey(s), the donkey(s) went on vacation. Good thing their behind's are huge...and they have no sensation there....
Still waiting....
