Sporting news record book question

the 1933 Sporting news record book, with Foxx on it, that I have seen for many years has a red cover. It is the only color I have ever seen. Now I have come upon the same guide with a green cover. Anyone know why they differ? Just curious. I have been watching Foxx itemsfor 18 years, and have never seen a green cover until now. Thanks in advance

I saw one with a green cover at a flea market in Maine that was a reprint of the original 1933 record book.

They may have been produced at a different factory or maybe a different part of the year. Red seems to be more common with fewer green versions.

As far as I can tell, the Green books...........

began around 1931. I have all the issues between 1931 and 1940 except for one. Click on the link below and see my SN Record Books. I picked up 3 at the National I have not been able to picture yet.....1918, 1919 and 1924. Anything before about 1925 are MUCH more difficult. Anything before 1920 are even MORE difficult it seems. The 1917 Jackson is tough.
