I knew his museum existed, and was private, but had never seen any pictures. I have always wanted to. Thanks for sharing Aaron. I recognize a few items he got off eBay. Gary is very active in eBay. Would love to see the early Giants jersey in pic #9, and the evolution of baseball and the equipment looks phenomenal.

I see where you don't have to sign up to view the article. I did go to his museum last year at the National- Mastro Dinner. He was very gracious and the collection is phenomenal. Not real heavy in cards but lots of memorabilia and stuff, which is good for this side of the world, I guess...........regards

edited to correct myself

I have not seen his collection, but from what I've read he is as nice as his collection is great.

Gary is a genuinely great guy, and I have known him for years. We even discovered that we went to the same high school, as he and I both grew up on Long Island.

Leon-two more edits: "phenomenal" and "lots" (no apostrophe)

Leon, you should change your browser to Mozilla Firefox2 as it has a built in spell checker. It will underline any word that is mis-spelled.

Hey Dan...I like IE and don't really care for Firefox so will continue to misspell words I guess....I can live with it....

Henry- at first I thought I had to sign up but then I just clicked on one of the links on the left and worked. So you don't have to sign up...

"Viola" is a stringed instrument, like a violin!

Not to mention Frank Viola, former lefty for the Twins.

Commenting periodically only once,

I was thinking of Frank, who also had a solid stint with the Mets!

Viola or voila whatever.....ya'll know what I meant....and I always use viola just like I do "breast regards" back to the's a an awesome place and it's nice to see Gary is opening it up to the public. When you go to it you would never know from the outside, what's on the inside. Very covert in that respect....regards
