Babe Ruth signed Currency

Without making any assertations as to the authenticity of the signature, wouldn't this be impossible to have been signed during the tour of 1934? I spent some time in the Philippines and collected some of the money while I was there and if I am correct in my assumption, this is a 1942-44 Japenese Occupation of the Philippines Peso Note. Anyone know anything I dont on this one?

Quick google search yields this...

http://www.pillowrock.com/ronnie/mphilippines.htm

which shows the exact note from 1943.

I havent notified him. I dont know about the signature being real or not and I did not want to do anything until I was sure about the date of the money which is why I posted it here. I will drop him a line and let him know.

He changed........

the description to add it was signed in 1945........

Kinda fishy. The sig looks pretty good though. He has nice stuff generally which I believe to be for the most part genuine. Does sometimes take some artistic license with descriptions.

Just my opinion......

I have bought stuff from him in the past. Deals HEAVILY in Philadelphia stuff--especially early A's stuff.
