New Nebraska Indians Postcard

Just got this in the mail today - Never had seen it before about two weeks ago. I'm guessing now that there was a set of the players made and now I have two from the set. They are both postmarked 1907. Are there more?

This is Dan Tobey, a pitcher for the NI. He later gained fame as a ring announcer in Boxing and is enshrined in the Boxing Hall of Fame.

This is an unknown player - Neither one of the guys on these postcards is Guy W. Green.

Dan, that's a very interesting observation. I just figured it was Guy Green. Someday I see you finding a cache of Indians postcards with a few complete sets.

If I had to guess I would say that this team card is part of the same issue since it's in the same style and all three of them have the same exact undivided back.

Guy Green is the fella in the middle in the suit. Tobey is second from right in the top row and I think the guy in the second postcard is standing second from left in the top row. It is not easy trying to research the names of the NI players as very little was written about them and most of them went by a made up Indian name given to them by Green.

As for your prediction about finding a cache of these I hope you're middle name is Karnak.
