Not necessarily in that order. I hadn't seen this item before, which recently ended on ebay

I saw it...Have you noticed Hall's Nostalgia recently Max? Some of that stuff has to be incredibly rare that they've been offering lately.

Dan,

In the past couple of weeks, Hall's has offered on eBay a 1947 Cleveland Indians media guide, only the third one I've seen for sale in the past 20-plus years, and a 1948 Indians media guide (not nearly as rare as the '47 but one that I waited a long time to add to my collection -- plus it's from a championship season.)

Though I know media guides aren't glamorous, I still was surprised and a bit discouraged at the prices they brought. Each sold for $157.50 but only because I put bids of $155 on each. figuring it was worth buying them at that price for trade bait down the road. There was only one other bidder on the 1947, which could be attributed to the fact that the description wasn't great -- "some sort of media item" -- and condition was a little off (but not that bad.)

I realize that it's all about supply and demand, but I still was surprised.

The wide range of publications Hall's has been selling as of late is impressive.

Rob
