Hi all
Wondering how you find the value of items. I bought a lot of sport memorabilia(mostly baseball) at an estate sale. I'm planning on selling most of it. I could just throw it on eBay for .99 but was wondering if there's a book or website that you use (like Becketts in cards).
The 67 sox Boston Globe cover after game 7 had a price tag of $100, is that close? There was also a NY Giants 1951 training season program, 5 Sporting news Baseball guides 1946,1953(hardcover),73,74,77. also a 1978 ND vs Missouri football program and a 1983 yankee vs rangers program, Also a first day cover dated 1939 special cancelation for the hall of fame.
I bought the whole lot because I wanted the Yaz 1964 Giant card that was also in it.

If anyone can tell me any prices I'd be very thankfull.

Ebay and other auctions are the best place to determine value. The $100 for this cover seems quite high. I would go the route you mentioned. Sometimes ebay will surprise you.
