Great postcard ruined for a stamp.

I found this postcard and had to have it. It has Bill Carrigan's hand writing in the message. I've never found another like it, any ideas?

Thank you Leon. I'm new to the computer side of the hobby. I hope to be posting more things in the future. I've collected for the last 30 or so years just for my own personal enjoyment, glad to find a place to share some of my finds.

I've seen this postcard before...the good thing is that the back was printed upside down so when the stamp was torn off it didn't take any of the players off the card.

They must have used this image/similar images for a wide variety of purposes. Here's a cut photo I have. It's at a slightly different angle. The put just about anything on postcards back then.

You know what? I may have just seen this image before posted by Greg....I knew I recognized it, but I figured it was a postcard.

It looks like the photos were taken at the same time, the poses are all the same.
