Anyone familiar with Georgia and Beaver Driver Bats?

Is anyone familiar with these 2 bat makers. I am a bat novice, and don't own them, but was curious about them.
Anyone know the date of them?

(these are the only photos I have for now)

Those are made by Hanna Batrite. Very collectible bats, especially if they have the bat logo center brand.

edited to add: these are circa 1930 bats.

Hanna Batrites

Thanks guys. I may have the opportunity to purchase these within the next few days, and if I do they will probably be going on the B/S/T. Dan, what do you mean re: the center brand; I have been looking online and I can't find an example. What do you think a fair value/offer for these 2 bats would be?

Is this Hanna mark on this bat what you mean?

Brock, if I purchase them, I'll contact you.

Nope, wrong center brand, but still a nice bat.

This center brand is far more desirable and valuable

Thanks Dan; That is a cool looking brand, I could understand commanding a premium.

Part of the lure of Hanna bats is that it is usually impossible to determine which are gamers and which are store models. In the early 30s Gehrig and others used Batrite bats. The flying bat logo is a few years earlier than the text logo. Both are very high quality desirable bats, but the flying bat commands a significant premium over the other. Nobody gave these bats a real look until about 6-7 years ago.

Buy them wheneve you get the chance. You will always have buyers for them.

Hanna Bat Company

February 2 2008, 10:08 AM

The Hanna bat company made bats from 1929 to the early 1970's. They were located in Athens, Georgia. The site of the original factory is there although it is being used for something else now. Among other things, they were the company that developed the cupped-end bat that is still very popular today. Among the desirable labels, besides the bat logo, are the Georgia Cracker label and WTA barrel labels. Both store and game models have the player's name in block letters.
